This highly detailed award buckle is hard to miss. Over a gorgeous black painted background, a large arrangement of intricately designed golden florals flow out over the face of the buckle in a C shape. This creates a circle of brightly polished hand tooled silver on the right, that a gold motif of your choice that best represents the award and your organization, can be placed. On the edges of the wave of florals are three gold ribbons that can be hand engraved with black lettering. The edge of the award buckle consists of alternating borders of gold berries and large gold beads on the corners.
Our Award buckles designs are created and developed by our expert design team. From the size and shape, to the placement of the words, to the arrangement of the specific metals, every part of this buckle is deliberately pieced together to the smallest detail. Lone Star Silversmith does not follow the trends, we set them. We realize though that everyone has different tastes when it comes to their awards. That’s why, no matter how much pride we take in our designs, we provide our customers endless options to take our designs and make them their own. Replace copper with silver. Change the background color. Rearrange the placement of the text. Our expert sales team will work hand in hand with you to create an award that is unique to you.
Our custom buckles are handmade. Our expert silversmiths utilize cutting edge technology, the finest metals, and skills developed and passed down through the centuries. The shape of the buckle is first carved out of the base metal. Exercising painstaking and exacting care each letter and floral design is precisely cut by hand. Once all the detail is complete, each piece is hand welded onto the base. The buckle is then sent to be plated with precious metals. The buckle is dipped in a bath of pure silver, gold, and copper. An electrical current is run through the bath and the precious metals are fused to the buckle in an ionic bond. The buckle is then cleaned and checked again for errors or impurities. The background is then painted, stones are set, and the whole piece is polished to a brilliant luster. Finally the buckle is coated by a micro thin protective finish that ensures the buckle will never tarnish and shine for a lifetime.
