Lone Star Silversmith is committed to offering the finest awards at the best price. We wanted to offer an award for those customers who don’t want to spend a lot, but we also refuse to put our name on an award that isn’t of the highest quality. That is why we have begun to offer our line of cast buckles. This way we can offer the amazing amounts of detail in our handmade buckles, but for a lower price. As they are not hand-made and come from a set cast, we are not able to allow the same amount of customization we do in our other buckles. We still won’t charge you to customize the motif or per letter, but we cannot add ribbons or stones to the cast buckles.
This beautiful trophy buckle is for those looking for something that separates itself from the pack. A model of impeccable craftsmanship and design, It has been designed from start to finish too stand out. The edge of this buckle consists of bands of tooled silver and silver beads over a narrow black painted background. An inner edge of silver florals encircles the inner portion of the buckle. The face of the buckle is covered in gleaming tooled silver. At the top and bottom are gold ribbons that can be engraved with black letters. In the center is space for a gold motif of your choice that best represents your organization and the award event.
This trophy buckle is created by elite silversmiths, incorporating traditional talents and skills passed down through generations, but with the help of cutting edge technology. Each buckle you order is made piece by piece. First the base metal is poured into a cast. Once it is hardened, the ribbons and motifs are welded onto the buckle. Every letter is engraved by hand, one by one. The buckle is then examined for quality and accuracy and scoured of all imperfections. Once the award buckle has met our rigorous standards it is sent to be plated, where the sterling silver and gold will be fused on the atomic level to the buckle. It is then cleaned and checked again for errors or impurities. In the final steps of the process buckle is polished and then covered by thin layer of lacquer that seals the buckle and insures that it will not tarnish. After one more round of quality control, your buckle is ready to be shipped out.
